Receipe from my friend Uma Ganapathy: Navranthan Kurma Spices: chilli powder (1/2 spoon) corriander powder (3/4 spoon) garam masala powder (3/4 spoon) turmeric powder (1/2 spoon) salt Vegetables: 1 big onion 2 big tomatoes potatoes, beans, carrot and peas and 4 to 5 spoons of sour cream 1. boil the tomatoes, peel the skin and cut them into small pieces. 2. boil the cut vegetables (with salt) separately and strain. 3. cut the onions into small pieces and fry them until they are lightly brown. Add the tomatoes (prepared in step 1) and fry them until it becomes a little pasty. Add the spices and turn it around for 2 minutes. (I have given the approximate quantities for spices.) 4. Add the boiled vegetables (prepared in step 2). Add the strained water to get whatever consistency you want. 5. Add 4 to 5 spoons of sour cream, keep it in low flame for 2 minutes..., and you are done.
